Fishing for the famous Karnten Laxn

Kärnten Fisch is one of the oldest fish farms in Austria and they have been dealing with fish since 1950. It is located by Feld am See, which is famous for its crystal-clear lakes and the Karnten Laxn, a salmon trout from the Salmonidae family of ray-finned fish. Their restaurant is a household name amongst locals, but they also offer incentive programmes where they will show you how to catch fish and tell you everything you should know about them. You will also be able to try some of their famous fish products, from fresh fish smoked and marinated trout right through to caviar, a culinary delicacy that has no equal.
